The 2025 Audi e-Tron GT has emerged as the brand's most powerful production road car yet, offering a compelling alternative to the Porsche Taycan. With significant mechanical and aesthetic updates, the latest e-Tron GT is available in three variants: S e-Tron GT, RS e-Tron GT, and the pinnacle RS e-Tron GT Performance. The Performance variant stands out as the most powerful and fastest production car in Audi's history.

2025 Audi e-Tron GT: Design Evolution

The updated e-Tron GT retains the sleek design cues of its predecessor, with each variant showcasing unique design elements. The S model features a classic look, while the RS variants boast a sportier appearance. All models display a refreshed two-dimensional version of Audi's four-ring emblem and new grille designs. The RS models have larger side air intakes with distinctive "L-shaped" components, and the S model is adorned with glossy black trim around its grille. The redesign is complemented by a variety of new wheel designs, including multispoke 20-inch wheels and forged 12-spoke wheels, reminiscent of the iconic "Avus" set from the 1991 Avus Quattro concept. A new Bedford Green paint option is exclusive to the Performance model, which also features a matte carbon roof and optional carbon camouflage parts.

2025 Audi e-Tron GT: Performance Enhancements

All variants of the e-Tron GT are equipped with dual electric motors, one on each axle. The S e-Tron GT delivers 670 bhp, the RS e-Tron GT offers 844 bhp, and the RS e-Tron GT Performance achieves an impressive 912 bhp. Acceleration times vary by model: the S e-Tron GT reaches 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, the RS e-Tron GT in 2.8 seconds, and the RS e-Tron GT Performance in just 2.5 seconds. Top speeds are set at 245 km/h for the S model and 250 km/h for the RS variants.

The RS models feature a boost function that provides an instant power surge of up to 70 kW. Audi has strengthened the driveshaft and reduced the rear electric motor's weight by 10 kg to ensure balanced power distribution. The car also benefits from a larger brake system and standard air suspension with two-chamber/two-valve technology.

A larger 105 kWh battery pack replaces the previous 93 kWh unit, offering a WLTP range of 609 km. Audi claims the battery can fast-charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, thanks to an increased maximum charging capacity of 320 kW. Despite the larger capacity, the new battery weighs 9 kg less than its predecessor.

2025 Audi e-Tron GT: Interior Refinements

Interior updates are subtle but impactful. The Virtual Cockpit now provides detailed battery information, including temperature, preconditioning, and real-time charging rates. The Performance model features a configurable white background on its display, a nod to the 1994 Audi RS2 Avant. The RS models offer trim-specific content.

The interior also includes a redesigned steering wheel with a squared-off shape, new seat designs with illuminated logos on the seatbacks, and updated upholstery. The Performance model introduces carbon camouflage and birch trim options, with Serpentine Green contrast stitching complementing the Bedford Green exterior.

2025 Audi e-Tron GT: Pricing and Availability

While detailed information on the US model is yet to be disclosed, the European version of the 2025 Audi e-Tron GT is now available. The outgoing model started at USD 107,995 (approximately Rs 90.03 lakh), with the RS model priced at USD 148,595 (around Rs 1.24 crore). Further details, including EPA range estimations and US pricing, are expected to be announced soon.

The 2025 Audi e-Tron GT, with its blend of performance, design, and cutting-edge technology, marks a significant milestone in Audi's journey towards a sustainable and electrifying future.
